Has Bon Jovi's success and longevity surprised you, and why or why not?

It just shows that Jon is willing to take chances and move with the times. What surprises me the most is that he and lots of other artists like Jewel and Sheryl Crow get lots of play on GAC and CMT. It never would have happened back in the eighties or early nineties.
