Lebanon,Is this true about lebanese and arabs?

I have a Greek friend who visited many arab countries.he said to me that arabs didn't look like each others and they have different features such as lebanese people look more like Italians and Greeks, citizens of Gulf countries have pure arab features, Egyptians look more like latin americans . actually I have never been to an arab country except Egypt and I liked it very much so I don't know alot about arab people but Is what he said true or not? and If this is true why arabs look different from each others although they are the same race?
